They are celebrated as Germany´s finest Rock Band ... LAKE were one of the few Rock Band´s to win the coveted “Deutschen Schallplattenpreis”. The band have also been privy to several No. One hits, as well as being a Power Dynamo on-stage stealing the show from names like Wisbone Ash ... to name but a few.

BACK in the not-so-distant-past, they did nothing but sell out the largest Live venue´s throughout Europe.  Even in that Mecca of Rock Music – the United States – they were acclaimed as one of the very few European bands to be celebrated along with such hallowed names as Bob Dylan, Genesis, Eric Clapton, or even Santana!

ALTHOUGH it has been relatively quiet around LAKE for a good decade or so, they are still regarded in the music world as a veritable Legend, and since 2003, LAKE have enjoyed a reincarnation on the Live scene in Europe.

Guitarist Alex Conti, has rounded up a stellar group of seasoned musicians for the Goode Ship LAKE with himself at the helm, ably assited by Ian Cussick on lead vocals, Mickie Stickdorn on drums, Holger Trull on bass and Jens Skwirblies playing keyboards.
